Position Purpose
The Box Truck Driver / Cabinet Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries of cabinets and other building materials to job sites, managing inventory in the warehouse, and providing excellent customer service. This dual-role position involves both driving and warehouse duties, requiring someone who can work efficiently, handle materials safely, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities
Driving Duties:
- Operate a 16-24 foot box truck to deliver cabinets and building materials to local customers and job sites.
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload cabinets and materials in a safe and organized manner.
- Verify accuracy of deliveries, ensuring all materials match the delivery orders.
- Maintain delivery logs and report any delays, accidents, or issues with deliveries.
- Perform routine inspections of the truck, ensuring it is in good working condition (checking fluid levels, tires, lights, etc.).
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
Warehouse Duties:
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking cabinets and building materials in the warehouse.
- Prepare orders for delivery or pick-up, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (certification preferred but not required).
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and assist with inventory management.
- Assist customers with picking up materials from the warehouse when needed.
Performs additional tasks as may be assigned.
Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner and ensure personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the company.
Basic math and organizational skills.
Must pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL not required but preferred).
Management Preference
High school diploma. GED, or equivalent
Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Prior experience in a warehouse, delivery, or logistics role preferred.
Working Conditions
Fast paced work environment with, in and around other forklifts, tractor trailers and other vehicles. Outdoor environment includes conditions of dust, noise, temperature variations and rain/snow.
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat kneel, climb, and reach overhead. Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must wear PPE including hardhat, safety shoes, ear, hands and eye protection.
