Job Summary:
The CDL Regional Truck Driver is responsible for work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations, driving on average 2,300 miles per week. The driver is responsible for the timely and safe delivery of products using our low-mile, latest-model equipment. Routes include Central & Midwest states, Carolina Regions, & East Coast.
A Sample of the Role:
- Transport and deliver freight over the road in a safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
- Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; installed and remove tire chains as needed due to weather.
- Load and unload assist, perform lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying freight. Equipped with a powered pallet jack.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs to Company personnel.
- Represent the Company and the trucking industry in a professional manner.
Your Natural Ingredients to Win:
- Valid CDL-A
- Two years of previous tractor/trailer driving experience
- Knowledge of all applicable DOT Regulations and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions (hot & cold)
