Starting Pay: $17 (no CDL permit)

Pay with CDL permit: $18

 

General Function:



Training to become a Class A delivery driver. Will assist in the delivery process while learning daily route processes and  merchandising accounts. Will be responsible for completing online training program and obtaining Class A permit.



Duties and Responsibilities:



· Safely unload product at account using a two-wheeler, electric pallet jack or other material handling equipment

· Safely operate Kentucky Eagle vehicles and equipment

· Stock displays, shelves and cooler with products

· Rotate product and merchandise within Kentucky Eagle guidelines

· Assist with delivery and hanging of signage

· Provide professional customer service

· Behind the wheel driving experience

· Assist with building displays as requested

· Ability to generate, modify and void invoices with iPad.

· Ability to work autonomously in the accounts

· Deliver hotshots. Collect payment, as needed. Turn in all paperwork and payment to will call office.

· Other duties as requested or assigned by Delivery Driver or Kentucky Eagle Management



Minimum Requirements:



· Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend and twist

· Beverage industry and/or retail merchandising experience is preferred

· Must be able to do repetitive lifting, up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of 165 pounds

· Valid drivers license with clean driving record

· Attention to detail

· Experience with electric pallet jack and other material handling equipment (preferred)

· Maintain all required certifications (i.e. Class 3 Material Handling Equipment certification)

· Ability to learn how to use iPad and printers (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi printers)

· Must be at least 21 years of age (per Kentucky ABC laws)

· Meet requirements to obtain a Solicitors license with Kentucky ABC
