Job Summary
Operate a tri-axle dump truck hauling road materials for road construction. This is a union position.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely operate triaxle dump truck
- Must be able to operate a standard shift truck
- Responsible for cleaning and greasing truck
- Responsible for notifying supervisor of any necessary truck repairs
- Responsible to notify supervisor / management of any safety concerns
- Responsible to participate in daily safety huddles
Education
- CDL Class B License at minimum
Skills
- Must be able to operate a standard truck
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to safely operate a standard tri-axle dump truck
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb in and out of the tri-axle, and perform maintenance and safety checks
- May require some lifting
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and shifts
