Truck Driver

This position will be responsible for all aspects of material used by the shop, such as receiving material, verifying accuracy and allocating the material to operators on a schedule per request. The truck driver will be operating company vehicles for the transportation of raw material and finished goods to and from suppliers and customers in Ohio.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operates company vehicles and is responsible for the prompt and compliant delivery of materials to and from local suppliers and customers
• Adheres to all city and state highway regulations pertaining to truck and load limits, safety regulations and set speed limits
• Responsible for loading vehicle and maintaining gas, oil, water and other normal care of equipment as required
• Maintains driving record in good standing in accordance with company policy
• Maintains safe working conditions and follows established operator safety procedures

SKILLS and ABILITIES

• Class B Driver's License is preferred
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
• Independent self-starter able to perform without direct and explicit instruction
• Should have a positive and professional attitude
