SUMMARY:
Drives gasoline or diesel powered tractor trailer combination/straight truck to transport and deliver petroleum products, from the assigned terminal or various points in the state of Illinois and Wisconsin. Operates all loading and unloading equipment to meet customer requirements while adhering to all applicable company, federal, and state safety rules and regulations.
DUTIES AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successful completion of activities including all written documents being completed accurately and promptly, and loads being delivered in good condition and on schedule, meeting all DOT Safety Rules and Regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Commercial Driverβs License (CDL): Class B is required and Class A is preferred, and other appropriate endorsements (such as tanker and hazmat) and state requirements, to be carried in truck cab while driver is in service.
