WJH Transfer/Truck Driver

JX Truck Center - Bolingbrook is a subsidiary of JX Enterprises, Inc.  We have 25 dealerships in 4 states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin.  As of this posting, the Bolingbrook dealership has approximately 55 employees in all of their departments.

Currently, JX Enterprises, Inc. employs approximately 1,250 people.

Job Overview:

The Transfer/Truck Driver will shuttle trucks from branch to branch or from branch to customer. Adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocol is required.  A valid Class B or Class A CDL is required for this position. This is a Monday - Friday, first shift position.  

Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday) 

Pay: $25.50 - $26.50 (based on experience)

# of interviews: 1-2 (based on whether or not a recruiter is asked to conduct a phone interview or not)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shuttle trucks from branch to branch or branch to customer.
• Pre-trip Truck Inspections
• Support the Used Truck Department truck moves and Used Truck Department functions in the greater Chicagoland area (would include other Used Truck Department functions when not driving).
• Follow all DOT regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have two (2) years of safe driving record.
• Must have the ability to troubleshoot the flow of traffic and road conditions.
• Must be insurable by our insurance company.
• Have a valid Commercial Driver’s License required (CDL) - Class B or Class A
