We are seeking a CDL A Reefer Hazmat Truck Driver in Helena, MT to transport both hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely and efficiently to, from, and within customer facilities. This role offers a competitive salary plus per diem. Join us and drive your future forward!

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport refrigerated freight, ensuring proper temperature control.
- Comply with all state, local, and federal driving laws and regulations.
- Monitor freight during trips to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload trailers, manually or with mechanical handling equipment.
- Record hours of service using electronic logging devices.
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle interior and equipment.
- Conduct routine visual inspections of vehicles and equipment before, during, and after trips.
- Report vehicle or equipment issues to maintenance immediately.
- Navigate and maneuver vehicles safely, even in challenging conditions such as heavy traffic or adverse weather.
- Complete documentation, including inspection reports, shipping documents, and other project notes, accurately and promptly.
- Communicate any accidents or incidents to the appropriate parties immediately.
- Collaborate with dispatch and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Uphold professionalism in interactions with customers and the public.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid CDL Class A license with Hazmat endorsement required.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial truck driving preferred.
- Clean driving record with no moving violations.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and focus for extended driving shifts.
- Skilled in GPS use, map reading, and route planning.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and resourceful with excellent stress management skills.
Position Details
This is a full-time, on-call position with flexible hours to meet job demands. While the schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, availability for other times may be required.
