Your typical day looks like this:
Arrival to shop yard may be between 6am and 7:30am, depending on if the truck needs to be emptied. Gather your tools/equipment for the day and head out ready to serve your first customer. Using your work issued tablet, perform each job that is scheduled for the day, checking in with the office and other drivers occasionally, and possibly dumping the truck at the treatment plant once or twice during the day between jobs.

The typical job looks like this:
Arrive at customers home and introduce yourself and obtain any pre-authorization signatures needed. Be conscious of the customer's property and yard for the duration of service. Gather your tools needed from the truck and start the job. If the septic tank lids are buried, use your training to locate the lids, dig them up with a shovel and remove the lids. Run vacuum hose (varies between 30-150 feet) and pump out the tank. Check for various aspects of the tank prior to covering the lid back up. Accurately fill out required service forms, and collect payment and fill out forms on the tablet. Have great customer service skills and a positive attitude; a smile goes a long way!
