Educate and train students to gain skills, knowledge and behaviors and support their successful entry into the workplace or higher education, in a manner that supports the program within industry and the community and is consistent with District Core Values.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of classroom discipline.
Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. – prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech.
Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
This position requires at least three (3) years of experience as an Over the Road (OTR) driver; teaching experience with adult learners is preferred.
Must have and maintain a current Commercial Driver’s License(CDL), Class-A Driver’s License with Tanker/Hazmat (X) and Double &Triple (T) endorsements.
Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record that meets ODOT regulations and standards.

Requires flexability to work one of the following schedules (not to exceed 29 hours per week)
8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
5:00 to 10:00 pm (Monday - Thursday)
Salary Schedule: Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
Hiring Range: $35 per hour
