This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position offering competitive pay, a complete benefits package, PTO, 401K with a company match, health, dental, vision, and life insurance. All new, full-time employees will be eligible for benefits within 31 days or less!

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary function of the Delivery Specialist is to safely deliver Company's products to customer sites, pump chemicals, clean tanks, and also provide excellent customer service when performing job duties at customer sites. The individual in this position will also serve as a back-up for chemical blending to make water treatment products that are used in boiler, cooling and wastewater systems.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Safely deliver product to customer docks and on-site tanks, using an electronic transfer pump to transfer chemicals used in industrial water treatment
  • Participate in the cleaning of tanks at customer sites, as needed
  • Assist with the set-up of water treatment equipment at new customer sites
  • Occasionally assist with installation/service/maintenance at customer accounts
  • Prepare proper shipping documentation for shipments and keep detailed and accurate records for Bills of Ladings
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
  • Effectively communicate with customers and team members
  • Keep vehicle and delivery equipment such (pumps, hoses, PPE) in good operating condition and keep up with recommended maintenance as needed
  • Perform drum and tote cleaning, inspection and recycling
  • Assist with a variety of warehouse duties
  • Follow all Company and customer safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to physically provide delivery, installation, and maintenance service at customer facilities within a wide range of environments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to safely and properly use an electric pallet jack to move skids or totes of chemicals
  • Ability to frequently life 5 to 50-lbs. up to 5 ft. off the ground
  • Ability to move 15, 30 and 55-gallon drums using a hand truck
  • Possession of basic knowledge of proper PPE required for products being transferred or moved and ability and willingness to wear required PPE
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half or full-face respirator
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime to meet production and delivery demands
  • Ability and willingness to attend Company's required safety trainings

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current HazMat endorsement
  • Current Tanker endorsement
