Description

The primary responsibilities of this position are: safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, ensure all timesheets, field tickets, driver’s logs, and other paperwork as required, is completed accurately and in a timely fashion as described in the company handbook. Drivers must also make sure that specific jobs are completed to the satisfaction of the company that we are servicing. This position is considered to be safety sensitive. (FMCSR CFR 49, Parts 382, 391, 392, and 49 CFR Part 40)

 

Other important responsibilities of this position include: ensuring yourself, employees and equipment are adhering to safety standards set forth by Anadarko Dozer & Trucking, LLC, and local, state, and federal agencies. Abide all traffic, local, state, and federal laws.  Must have or complete Safeland training.

 

In addition to the above, the responsibilities of this position include such duties, tasks, and activities as are customarily and traditionally associated with this position, and all other duties as assigned.

 

Physical aspects of this job include, but are not limited to, climbing in and out of the vehicle.  Please note that all rock trailers have electric tarps and can be operated from inside the truck. Loading of the trailers are typically done for the driver by equipment operators. Unloading of trailers can be done from inside the cab of the vehicle. Drivers must be able to work up to 12 hour days. Drivers work closely with the Rock truck supervisor to coordinate schedules of jobs. The job schedule is typically Monday through Friday with some half days on Saturday. Depending on the business needs, drivers may be required to stay overnight in their trucks.  Employee schedules are subject to change based on business needs and the employee’s skill set.

 

The mental aspects of the job include the skills and abilities to work on multiple job sites on a daily basis to the satisfaction of the customer. Drivers must be able to communicate, and have good organizational skills. Driver is responsible for maintaining and inspecting his/her truck.  Daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections are required.

 

The qualifications for this position are: current Class A CDL required, a current MVR that is agreeable with our company insurance, have at least two (2) years driving experience, Oilfield experience preferred, and must be able to pass a physical and obtain a medical card.
