We are now hiring for a Tender Truck Driver/Operations Associate for our Greenwood, NE location! This position is being offered as full-time with benefits.
Essential duties:

Requires either a CDL Class A or Class B with proper endorsements to operate the tender semi-trucks or straight trucks to transport through the trade territory dry and liquid fertilizer or anhydrous ammonia nurse trailers to producer’s fields.

Depending on company location may assist in the loading of chemicals manually or through the company software system according to specifications given by Ag Advisors; loads chemicals into containers by connecting hoses and operates the transfer system; when transfer is complete, secures vehicle for transport; receives customer location maps and delivery instructions; retains load ticket at all times that describes the chemical(s) being transported.

Delivers product to AG Equipment Operators at producer’s fields; prepares truck for product transfer; connect hoses to applicator machinery, operate pumps to transfer the product; clear hose lines when transfer is completed and secure hoses to truck; if needed submit load ticket to operator on product delivered and return to chemical plant for new product load.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons, customers, and employees in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Operations Associates assist customers with purchasing bulk fertilizers, chemicals, and seed, as well as delivering grain commodities to the terminal.
- Control all load-out functions including blending and loading agronomy products, loading/unloading grain trucks, and maintaining the quality of inventory and blended products.
- Perform warehouse and other agricultural-related duties such as operating tractors, machinery, forklifts, loaders, bobcats, etc.
- Assist with routine building, grounds, vehicle, and equipment maintenance and repair; perform housekeeping inside and outside of all facilities, offices, mills, and elevators.
Job skills and requirements:
- Operate safely a variety of commercial vehicles, trencher; boom truck; hose couplers; pneumatic and hand tools; bench tools; computers and company software programs.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or electronic form; read and interpret, work orders, batch loads, gauges, meters, directional and plot maps, safety rules, CDL driving rules and laws, weigh tickets, load and delivery tickets, operating and maintenance procedure manuals and instructions.
- Able to write and record D.O.T. inspection and maintenance reports, mileage and fuel reports, complete work orders and general correspondence.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. on occasion; sit, stand, stoop, squat, crawl, walk, jog, run, climb tall ladders at various heights, stairs, and in and around confined spaces like grain bins and boot pits, as needed.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery to load and unload bulk fertilizer and grain products for suppliers and customers. Ability to operate forklifts, loaders, conveyors, tractors, farming equipment and other machinery.
- Ability to work in and around grain, dust, and with Nebraska’s adverse weather conditions and temperatures.

Ability to work long hours to meet business demands during harvest.
