Stefanini Group is looking for CDL A driver in Hagerstown, MD.

This is the perfect job for someone who is looking to pick up a few extra hours, has a flexible schedule, and is retired or someone who wants to work part-time.
- You will be driving state-of-the-art test vehicle with test engineers to evaluate features/functions and collect data.
- Support testing activities by performing on road evaluations of new features/functions being developed.
- Drive routes on our endurance test track by running cycles on the events specified by the testing requirements.
- Transport vehicles to remote locations in support of testing activities.
- Drive specified routes or for a specific time to accumulate mileage. (Mileage accumulation on test vehicles.)
- There are 3 shifts of operation (9a-5p, 5p-1am, and 1am-9am)
- They do not swap shifts and someone who is assigned a shift will stick with it unless there is a need but that is rare.
- Drivers will stay local 99.5% of the time and usually only travel within a 100-150 mile radius.
- If you have a “P” endorsement (which covers buses / bus drivers) that would be great as well
Best candidates for this role are those that are retired CDL A Truck Drivers that want to pick up some work, since the work is not steady and fluctuates.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience, operating a commercial motor vehicle
- Valid Class A CDL required, P endorsement not required, but would be favorable
- Valid medical card
- Must be able to use ELD devices in all vehicles for hours of service tracking
- Must be able to correctly perform a pre and post trip inspection of truck and trailer
- Must successfully pass a road certification driving test
- Must have a clear 10 year background check for driving record and drug/alcohol testing
- Required paperwork must be completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Must be able to follow instructions and provide good feedback
