Truck Drivers Needed.

We are hiring tractor trailer drivers. Here are the key points:

• Hiring Area: Within a 75-mile radius of Altoona, PA.
• Lane:
  • 5-day workweek from Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Starts in Altoona, PA with deliveries and pickups.
  • Requires working weekends and any holidays that fall on those weekends.
• Miles and Pay:
  • 2500-2950 miles per week.
  • $1631.00 per week / $84,812.00 per year.
  • Additional tailgate pay (average of around 10 tailgates per week).
• Schedule:
  • Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Departure from Altoona, PA at 06:00-07:00 AM.
  • Daily unload/live loads in Conway, PA, and Bellevue, OH before returning to Altoona, PA.
  • Days subject to change based on customer needs.
• Home Time:
  • Weekly 34-hour reset at home.
• Equipment Type:
  • 2020 or newer Kenworth or Freightliner with tandem axle sleepers.
  • Automatic Transmission, Elite Pre-Pass, outward-facing cameras.
  • 53’ Dry Van Trailers with swing doors.
• Freight Type:
  • Combination of drop and hook and tailgating.
  • Drivers may have to lift boxes (up to 50 lbs.) to move freight to the back of the trailer.
  • No customer assistance in unloading.
• Truck Speed:
  • 65 MPH pedal and cruise.
• Bonuses:
  • New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (paid on the second paycheck).
  • Referral Bonus: $3000 (paid in increments at 2nd paycheck, 60 days, and 120 days).
• Accessorial Pay
  • Stop pay: $14 at the first stop.
  • Tailgating: $10 per tailgate (driver assists with moving freight to the tail of the trailer).
  • Delay pay: $17/hour (max $70 after 60 minutes; the first hour is free).
  • Breakdown pay: $17/hour (max 9 hours).
• Parking:
  • Onsite in Altoona, PA.
• Requirements:
  • 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Hazmat certification required.
• Other:
  • Work any holiday except Christmas Day. Paid holiday rate for working holidays.
  • Typically, drivers depart during the day and return in the evening.
  • Most of the time, drivers have 48 hours or more of rest at home before their next run.
  • Dog/Passenger Rider policies are available if interested.
