CDL Truck Driving
  • Drives truck machine to specified points
  • Be committed to working in all weather conditions; rain, extreme heat and cold
  • Pre-shift and post-shift truck check to check for proper operation
  • Makes minor adjustments to vehicle
  • Fueling and cleaning
  • Complete paperwork as necessary
  • Other duties may be assigned


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A state issued valid A CDL with Tanker endorsement and a clean MVR, required
  • Must have at least 1 year of verifiable work experience driving a Vacuum Truck
  • Must be able to read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to work any shift available (the day shift, the night shift and weekends as needed)
  • Able to work around dirt, dust, and noise associated with heavy equipment
  • Read maps and follows driving directions
  • Solid understanding of traffic regulations and safe driving practices
  • Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsΒ 
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsΒ
